Wallside Windows is known for its long history of manufacturing vinyl replacement windows right here at our Michigan factory. And not only do our windows earn the distinction of being locally made, we also source materials and parts from around Michigan and the Midwest as well as the Eastern United States.
The team at Wallside’s Taylor, Michigan factory builds windows from materials that arrive daily, with most components coming from four companies who manufacture in the U.S., just like Wallside:
Vinyl extrusions, which are used to make window frames and sashes, come from Veka Inc. in Fombell, Pennsylvania.
Glass is sourced from Cardinal Glass Industries, in Fremont, Indiana.
Window hardware, like locks and casement hardware, come from Roto North America in Connecticut.
Most screens are almost as local as the window manufacturing itself — they come from Flexscreen, in Rockwood, Michigan.
Wallside Windows chief of staff Adam Blanck says that such extensive sourcing from across the USA allows Wallside to support American companies while also ensuring that each Wallside window is a high-quality product. Partnering with American suppliers also means that Wallside can provide an efficient turnaround time when customers order their windows.
“Every item we make is custom made, so ensuring we have close-by suppliers ensures that we can turn around windows as quickly as possible,” he said.
