Tilting to Clean
Pushing both latch levers completely into their tracks applies hidden brakes preventing window sash from sliding left or right and falling out of window frame.
How Sashes Are Mounted
Left sash must be removed first.
Be careful not to let sash fall from frame.
With sash tilted in:
Gently pull top of sash diagonally down and inward until top pivot bar comes out of shoe and sash frame clears track then lift sash out with both hands.
Sash Replacement
Top lever is vertical, bottom lever is flat into track, top shoe is aligned diagonally from bottom shoe.
With pivot bar set into stationary bottom shoe, tilt sash upward while inserting top pivot bar into moveable top shoe.
Helpful tip: Use lever to slide top track assembly back or forth while tilting sash to insert top pivot bar into shoe.
