HOW TO: Measure for New Windows

There are a lot of old windows in homes all across America. Though they may give a home a rustic look, they will all need to be replaced at some point.

In this short video, a window expert shows viewers how to measure for new windows. After going over the anatomy of a wooden window fixture, he shows homeowners where to place the tape measure for the most accurate measurement. It’s important to take a quarter of an inch off of every measurement to allow for flexibility and expansion with temperature changes.
