Wallside Windows is once again proud to be the lead sponsor of Bookstock, Michigan’s biggest used book and media sale. Hundreds of thousands of donated, gently-used books and media items are on sale at bargain prices for this unique week-long sale.
Bookstock kicks off Sunday, April 27, 2025 and runs through May 4th at Laurel Park Place in Livonia. Many books are only a two or three dollars. You’ll find recent hardcovers for $4 to $6 and most children’s books are $3 or less.
Proceeds from the sale support education and literacy projects across Metro Detroit. All leftover books from Bookstock are donated to nonprofits and charities.
Bookstock is a family-friendly community event. It’s impossible to visit and not leave with a bag of books, records or movies. We challenge you to try it.
Part of our Wallside family, Roz Blanck, is one of the founders of Bookstock and we’re proud to have supported the cause from the start. Over more than 20 years, Bookstock has grown to a yearlong effort with hundreds of volunteers helping to collect and sort books. Bookstock has raised millions of dollars to support literacy and education in our community.
